As Independence Day approaches, I wanted to honor some of the revolutionary women who helped shape our nation and changed the course of history.
This is a celebration of the many women who played a role in the birth of our nation.

A Book List for President’s Day
Just FYI…the flag we know as the Star Spangled Banner was actually flown during the War of 1812–NOT the Revolutionary War. You have three books on your list about the Star Spangled Banner. Maybe your list would be better named Female Heroes of the early days of America, rather than “of the Revolution.” Not a huge deal, but I do like to teach accurate facts when teaching history.
