Curriculum Review Sites

Choosing curriculum can be the most overwhelming part of deciding to home school-that’s where the curriculum reviews come in handy.  Here are a few of my favorite places to read reviews:

The Old Schoolhouse Crew-This is a team of bloggers who receive curricula from various publishers.  Each blogger gets to try out the curricula and then they blog about their experiences.

Cathy Duffy Reviews-Cathy Duffy has written the book 100 Top Picks for Homeschool Curriculum and she offers reviews on her site as well.

The Curriculum Choice-This is compilation blog and the moms post reviews and discuss their experience with various curricula.

The Old Schoolhouse Magazine-The home site for the magazine has reviews written by various homeschool families.  These are organized by subject.

Homeschool Reviews-This site lists many of the major curricula available and allows users to post a review.

My Reviews
While we may be new to the homeschooling adventure and to the various curricula options, I plan to review our curriculum along the way as we discover what best fits our family.2013 Crew Reviews

Time 4 Learning
I’ve been invited to try Time4Learning for one month in exchange for a candid review. My opinion will be entirely my own, so be sure to come back and read about my experience. Time4Learning can be used as a homeschool curriculum, for afterschool enrichment and for summer skill sharpening. Find out how to write your own curriculum review for Time4Learning.
