Valentine Crafts Day 13: Stained Glass Hearts

Stained Glass Hearts  (well…….faux stained glass…….) Mix glue and black paint and make designs on heavy paper Let dry completely (overnight is best) Then paint with water colors!

Valentine Crafts Day 12: Shiny Heart

Shiny Heart You’ll need: Piece of cardboard Aluminum foil Permanent Markers We covered a small piece of cardboard with aluminum foil and then drew our hearts with black permanent marker.  Then we colored with permanent markers in different colors.  The result is a shiny stained glass-like heart.  Love!

Valentine Wreath  We practiced cutting out hearts of various sizes and then glued them to a paper plate with the center cut out.  Great for scissor skills!

Valentine Crafts Day 9: Secret Message Hearts

 Secret Message Hearts My kids love drawing with white crayons or white pastels on white paper and then using watercolor paints to show their secret drawings and messages.  Here are their secret heart drawings.  We used positive/negative stencils that I cut from cardstock.

Valentine Crafts Day 8: Valentine Wreath

Valentine Wreath You will need: 1 foam heart from a craft store 3/4 yard of felt fabric straight pins Cut the felt into 3-inch circles.   Fold the circles in half once and then in half again. Use the straight pin to adhere to the foam heart. Now it’s ready to hang on our door!
