We did it! We survived our first day of back-to-homeschool!
First order: Bible Study
Then: Biscuits and Gravy
How can you go wrong with a day that starts like that?
All in all we had a great day and our schedule worked out very well. We got everything in with lots of breaks for play, PE, and art time.
Tuesday our day will begin with pumpkin cinnamon rolls and then we’ll head to Sea World to celebrate our homeschooling flexibility.
We’re ready for another year!
The kids were most excited about art and PE…..
Ladybug’s favorite is lunch time though
And Bee is so excited to have some of her own books this year!
As our new not-back-to-school tradition we made tie dye shirts. They make a great school uniform!
Our first day "back" is this coming Monday and I am so excited!
We were very excited! It's been a pretty good week so far. We're still working on our routine but overall things have gone very well. It feels so good to get started again and try out all our new stuff!
What pattern block book is Bee working on? I'm looking for some for my PreK and K children. Thanks.
Bee using Hands on Thinking Skills from the Critical Thinking Company. Tiger used it last year. They both enjoy it and using all the different manipulatives. i recently found some new resources for using all the blocks and manipulatives so I'm sure we'll add those in too after I print them off : )
