Salty Watercolors

For art day #2 we enjoyed making a glue picture and then sprinkling it with salt.  Then we took large brushes and watercolor paint and gently touched the paint filled brush to the wet glue/salt, watching the colors spread.  What kid doesn’t enjoy drizzling glue all over paper?

And when the picture dries, it is so sparkly!

  1. It was fun! I have to look for simple projects for my littles and this was one they could do on their own. They were very impressed with the results!
